Moon, Mountain, Tree

Here are two pictures of my first attempt at marquetry.  The picture is made from pieces of wood veneer that are cut on a scroll saw and then glued to a MDF board.  After the glue dried I applied a clear lacquer finish.  I did this piece as part of a beginning marquetry class at the Nor-Cal Chapter of the American Marquetry Society of which I am now a member.
