One of the last projects on the caged garden is some trim pieces to cover the wire. I milled the pieces to width and put on a coat of prime. That took up all my shop time for the weekend.
Who would think that painting that would take three hours.

I wish Hubs had a hobby like you Andrew… Retirement is looming large and I can see him in my crystal ball firmly planted on the couch with the TV on and Twinkies in his hand. Oh, the humanity!

You could try a subscription to a few woodworking magazines, maybe offer to buy a few power tools … well maybe you could get to at least watch a few how to shows.

We recently stained some patio furniture and I couldn’t believe how long it took! Painting is tedious! I can’t wait to see your garden.

When I’m painting, the surface to be covered always doubles or triples before I’m done. How does that happen?
