If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would have put them on my knees.
Now back to the workshop,

I’ve been able to bury that memory.

What’s the utility in touching one’s toes anyway?

You got me, but I keep hearing from certain people that you’re suppose to do it.

Ah, Carrie. What does she know? It’s not like she’s a doctor or anything. Oh, wait… 😉

Yes, that’s what I was thinking.

There isn’t a person over 60 who wouldn’t applaud your sentiments today. Thank you for the chuckle. 🙂

Toes? I rarely see them. I assume they’re still down there somewhere.

Being as tomorrow is one of the days I go to the Silver Sneakers gym, I know I’ll be thinking of this and laughing. [hope no one calls for the straight jacket guys!!] 🙂

Be careful and don’t laugh while lifting weights – you could drop them and break a toe. 😉

Cute that you actually think I lift weights! I’m more of a treadmill or sit down and work the ab machine sort.

I was able to do it when I was a child, and am happy with the memory, but no longer need to repeat the activity.

Sadly, I wasn’t able to do it as a child either. Well, maybe when I was two. Past that, I’m stiff city.

Hehe, I have a counterpoint: if he DIDN’T want us to touch our toes, he wouldn’t have given us such flexible spines. 😉
LikeLiked by 1 person
Well, I would not dare to question your knowledge on the subject, but will only point out that younger spines are far more flexible than the older, heavily used spines like I have… 😉

Haha, I take it you’re not a yoga fan? However far down we can reach is fine–doesn’t have to be the toes. Just so long as we’re stretching our goods. 🙂

I can reach down far enough to pick up a spoon for my yogurt. Does that count for anything?

Ha! You’re all set then. 🙂

Good point, Andrew. I have found that the older I get, the farther away the ground seems to be.

Well, when was the last time you thought that touching your toes was a good idea?

Does trimming my toenails count?

Humm, hadn’t considered that. Okay you get toe touching credit. Just wash your hands afterwards…
