Friday Wisdom – Free?

The store was offering a “free gift” with purchase.

I’m confused, isn’t a gift free?

More questions next week,

Like when I check out at the grocery store and as they hand me the receipt for my $100 purchase they say, “You just sved $4.57.” (store discounts, etc)

And if you have to spend on something else to get it it’s not really free is it?

  7. If this was Europe and a ‘free gift’ was part of a newsletter sign-up, it would be illegal.

OK, I’m still a bit triggered over the whole GDPR thing.
