Not much worth taking pictures of in the workshop this week so here are a couple of pictures from our hike this weekend at Point Lobos. I find walking by the ocean to be a great writing inspiration.

Looking out to sea from the south coast.

Shhh, it’s hiding…
Hopefully I’ll finish the planter box this weekend.
If you need me – I’ll be hiding on that beach,
Andrew

Lovely. Hiding so well it needs a sign. I’m surprised it didn’t have an arrow too.

Well, it was a hidden beach, so I guess the arrow was just one clue too many…

It looks wild and beautiful. I am a little jealous… no beach near here sadly.

“I’ll be hiding on that beach.”—Ahh, I wish I could say those words. But no beach nearby for me. Sigh.

Maybe you could make a beach at your house. They sell sand down at your local big box home improvement center. A few bags, a spare bit of floor and presto: beach! Well, maybe not exactly the same…

Haha, yeah, maybe not quite the same.

Hidden Beach–because it’s dirt? Hmmm… I fell in love with raw nature walks helping my daughter with a science project in high school. We explored so many deserts, scrublands. Gorgeous pictures, Andrew.

I love walking here, there is a power in the ocean that just fills the soul. The park service’s signage can be a bit odd at times…
