Friday Wisdom – Neighbors

This week the topic at the church writing group was, “Neighbors” Here’s what I learned:

Late at night I’ll go into my backyard and dig a hole – just to keep my neighbors guessing about me.

My neighbor plays his trumpet late at night so I changed the name of my Wi-Fi network to “I can hear you.” He changed his to, “I know.”

I know my neighbors love my taste in music because the call the police to come over and listen to it.

My neighbor was knocking very loudly on my door at 3:00 am this morning. Good thing I was still awake playing my drums.

Our neighbor named his dog, “5 miles,” so he could say, “I walked 5 miles today.”

I think my neighbor is stalking me. Well, at least I think it was my name I saw her googling – my telescope is a little shaky so it was hard to tell.

I have an annoying, loud, obnoxious neighbor. This must be how Canada feels.

If I’m reading their lips correctly, my neighbors are talking about some creep who lives next door.

I’ve decided to take up fencing. The neighbors say if I don’t put it back they’ll call the police.

My new neighbor has two German Shepards, one named Rolex and the other Timex. Yeah, their watch dogs.

What is 668? The neighbor of the beast.

I thought my neighbors were nice people, but I just found out they added a password to their Wi-Fi.

    One of your best selections ever. I particularly liked the political comment about Canada and the USA although I suspect many Americans may not hve done!
