As we get closer to Father’s Day, my father’s jokes come to mind. Yesterday I went to get my hair cut which reminded me of this exchange I had with father when I was a teen:
Me: I think I need a hair cut.
Father: Why don’t you get them all cut?
More wisdom next week,
Andrew

Classic. That’s like when someone will ask my husband a question such as, “Is today Tuesday?” He’ll say, “All day.”

I say that all the time too!

That’s the kind of thing I say at times to my grandchildren and it makes them laugh. Sharing this from your dad encourages me to be sure to share my sense of humor as often as possible. What a lovely way to be remembered!

The right time for a joke is any time! My dad was a joker too. but in a different way. Have you ever thought about how many ways humor can be used?
Thanks for the smile. Happy Father’s Day.

I love a sense of humor, even a lame one (I say that without malice–it usually describes me). Nice.

It’s all about timing. Even a bad joke can be very funny if delivered at the right time. And, no, I don’t know the right time.
