When hiring an electrician always ask this question:
“How many times have you been shocked on the job?”
The correct answer is: “Once”
More wisdom next Friday.

He mightn’t be the brightest bulb if he’s been shocked more than once! 😀 😀 😀

An excellent question! I got zapped pretty good once as a kid and as a result I’m almost afraid to change a lightbulb. LOL! But I was only zapped once!

Great post which made me think. I hired an electrician. He promised to appear LIVE.
He didn’t turn up. He must have gone to EARTH. Was I annoyed ? No … I felt NEUTRAL about the whole thing.

Yup, shocked, stunned, and slightly confused on what just happened.

Yup, once, meaning he learned from the experience and is a careful worker. More than once, he is a sloppy worker who doesn’t pay attention. And saying never is a lie, all good electricians have touch the wrong wires at least once.

I know two things about electricity. It’s invisible and it’ll kill you. I figure that’s all I need to know. Lol.
