Born in California
Did the school thing studying electronics, computers, release engineering and literary criticism.
I worked in the high tech world doing software release engineering and am now retired.
Then I got prostate cancer.
Now I am a blogger and work in my wood shop doing scroll saw work and marquetry.
LOL! (And I concur on the “ouch” part.) This is why I move into a house, place the furniture, and NEVER MOVE IT AGAIN until I move out, even if it’s decades later. It’s not very “designerly”, but it’s much easier on the toes, shins, and profanity generator.
I agree with ‘ouch’ My ‘pinkie toes’ are mutilated for life. It is really cumbersome wearing my steel-toed knee high construction boots all the time at 65yrs old in the home 😉
I’m wincing thinking about the times I’ve used my ‘furniture locator”… Andrew…where are you? We’re getting worried!!

I’m sure I have some permanent damage there. I’m here, will post something soon.

It’s also how I find furniture when walking while reading. (I multitask a lot)

That’s a good plan, but do check once in a while because I’ve noticed that sometimes furniture moves on its own.

Interestingly, although most gadgets eventually fail, I’ve noticed my furniture-finder works better than ever.

Good point, it does seem to work better with age.

Just last night I found a coffee table and a chair.

I bet you were wondering where those had gotten to.

I had, keeping track of all the furniture is a full time job.

True. I hope your shins get paid well, and especially that they get decent health care benefits.

That would be cumbersome.

I don’t often laugh out loud, but that did the trick. Thank you!

Yes, and likely to generate more profanity when an object is detected.
