I don’t mind if they rest, as long as they don’t decide to lie down unexpectedly while I’m close to them. 😉

That can be a slight problem – like when they decide your house looks like a comfy bed.

exactly! If they got to lie down or at least sit once in awhile they would be around so much longer …

Those sequoias give the rest of the tree world a bad name. Weeping Willows are crying because they’re just so darn tired and want to rest. They are the moms of the arboreal world. Probably why they’re also my favorite.

They do so much, you’d think people would be nicer to them.

I think that’s why they prefer the company of other trees. When we’re not looking, they lean on each other.
