Friday Wisdom – Not the miles

When I’d complain about something my dear old daddy would often say,
“It’s not the miles you walk.  It’s the rock in your shoe.”

  3. That is excellent, and true. Of course, being a thriller writer, I immediately jump to the trick of putting a rock in your shoe to change your gait. Great way to hide from cameras.
