There isn’t much happening in the shop at the moment as we’re getting ready for a bathroom remodel. More about that next week, so this week, by popular demand (okay, one person asked), you get pictures of kitties sleeping.

Socks sleeping on the reading chair.

Boots on the love seat.

Bella on the other reading chair.

Spotty in her tower saying, “Will you please turn that thing off, some of us are sleeping.”
Hopefully there will construction pictures next week.
If you need me – I’ll be looking for an empty chair.
Andrew
Wish I could curl up on a chair like that. Looks so comfy! 🙂

YEAH!!!!!!!! So sorry it took me so long to see this. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! And I know I’m supposed to be focused on the kitties, but I couldn’t help but notice how nice the upholstery is on your furniture. Is is relatively new? We’re about ready to get our third slipcover from tears and stains. Love the last kittie’s caption and your note about looking for a place to sit. classic.

Those chairs are 17 – brace yourself – 17 years old, never been recovered. One of the benefits of a home with no children living there.

I suppose. And your cats must be declawed.

No, fully clawed, but never allowed in the livingroom without human supervision and a spray bottle of water. As they said in Harry Potter, “Constant vigilance!”

I hope the bathroom remodel won’t upset their sleeping patterns! They look very comfortable in these photos! They really are beautiful! 🙂

Likely not, they seem able to sleep through most anything – except birds, if they hear, see or think bird they fly to the window.

Pictures of cats are always welcome, especially by those of us who can’t have cats because of our spouse’s allergies. Sigh.

Oh no!!! Cats know the allergic ones from 2 miles.

Very hard working kitties.

Haha! Maybe if you ask nicely, one of them will allow you to sit down. 😊

Yes, they would, then they’d sit on top of me, my book, my computer, the tv remote …

Do you want two more? Ours decided to use our living room carpet instead of their litter box the final few days before we came home from our trip. They did great for 21 days – I guess they got really pissed off (literally) when we didn’t come home after 3 weeks. And we hired a pet sitter for the very first time to take extra good care of them. Ingrates…

Cats, what can you do? Sadly, my kitty home is full.

They’re happy now, wait till the crew starts banging on the walls, not so happy then.

be sure to check under the tub before they close the wall. 20 years ago we had a crazy silver tabby who decided to crawl in and hide there when we remodeled the bath.

BTW, I followed your suggestion on the https. WPEngine provided them for free and helped me to install them–all taken care of. Next, I have to call GoDaddy and see if theirs are also free (I have one website managed through them). Thanks for your help on this!

Perfect. GoDaddy should be able to set you up too. They might be free, I haven’t used them in awhile.

Finished with GoDaddy last night. I think the certificate is more robust–about $60 a year. Oh, well. I don’t mind more robust protection.

The WP certs are shared across many users so they cost less (and slightly less secure), while the GoDaddy are just for your page, likely with the higher encryption. You can pay more, but that’s about right. Some providers bundle that fee into the hosting package.
