Friday Wisdom – Bicycles

I’ve been thinking about buying a bicycle. Well, maybe an electric bicycle. Anyway, here’s some things I found out about bicycles:

When is a bicycle not a bicycle? When you turn it into a driveway.

What’s the hardest part of learning to ride a bicycle? The pavement.

I was trying to stand my bike up on the kickstand, but it kept falling over. It was just too tired.

Why did the barber win the bicycle race? He did a short cut.

Did you know bicycles like poetry – yup especially spoken-n-word.

I sent my bicycle to a psychiatrist. It was having cycle-logical problems.

I met a woman who made sculptures out of old bike parts. She was a true Cycleangelo.

The bank manager had to give up riding his bicycle. He was starting to lose his balance.

I was just offered a job at a bicycle manufacturing company. I’m going to be their Spokesperson.

My daughter’s dog kept chasing people on a bicycle. Finally she had to take away the dog’s bicycle.

Great fun, Andrew! I’ll have to share a few of these with our eight-year old granddaughter. She loves plays on words!

Remember when you ran around as a kid and everything was a breeze ? Uh-huh. And then eventually you would excitedly tell an adult
“I can’t WAIT to be a grown-up !”. Yup. And then the adult just rolled their eyes towards heaven, patted you on the head and said
“Just you wait… Enjoy being a kid as long as you can”. Well… You’re bicycle mishegoss is proof that the grown-up, long ago… Knew exactly what they were talking about๐Ÿ˜
