Friday Wisdom – Cats

Definition: Cat, noun, small furry mammal that’s always on the wrong side of the door.

Dogs have owners.  Cats have staff.

Cats are proof that the world is round.  If it was flat the cats would have pushed everything off by now.

Why don’t cats play poker in the jungle? Too many cheetahs.

What’s smarter than a talking cat? A spelling bee.

Oh, I’ve not heard the flat earth one. That’s pretty funny!
Though up until our newest addition, I’ve not had a cat who did that. Lady Grey though…. she knocks off everything and I honestly believe it’s just to hear the sound it makes.

  2. “…always on the wrong side of the door.” That’s hilariously true! And if you think you’ll mess with them by holding the door open, they plant themselves right on the threshold and refuse to go in or out.

Shhh. My year-old cat hasn’t yet heard about pushing things off things — referred to as gravity testing in my family.

  8. Truth from a cat owner, right there from a once upon a time cat owner. 😉
