It’s official, Autumn has arrived and the days will be getting shorter and the nights longer. Well here’s what I can tell you about autumn:
Did you know that trees use the internet? Yeah, the can just log on.
Never tell your secret in a cornfield – the corn has ears.
I broke my pumpkin, but I know where there is a pumpkin patch.
Humpty Dumpty loves autumn because he always has a great fall.
This is the time of year when birds fly south. Well, it’s faster than walking.
Do you know why the young tree went to school? She just wanted to branch out.
Not many people know this, but the Scarecrow won a Nobel Prize. He was outstanding in his field.
What the first thing that happens in winter? Autumn leaves.
Did you know that lions move just be autumn starts? Yes, the pride goeth before the fall.
What has four legs, is green and if it fell out of a tree could kill you? That’s right, a pool table.
It’s fall so it’s time to get out my special vest – yup it’s time for my har-vest.
Mother kangaroos hate rainy fall days – the kids have to play inside.
If money grew on trees, autumn would be even better.
What will land first in my yard? A leaf or a Christmas catalog?
What the best thing to put in your apple pie? Your teeth.
I liked the ;last to best. You are so right about Christmas catalogues as we call them but above all, the best thing in an apple pie is definitely my teeth!
